Story
Every year approximately 100,000 people will have a stroke in the UK and a quarter of these will happen to people of working age or younger and it is the single biggest cause of disability. Different Strokes is the only charity dedicated to younger stroke survivors to provide active peer support through information, advice and rehabilitation services.
Our amazing team of runners have been inspired by their own and other's journeys of stroke recovery.
This event is not your average half marathon! From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city's quirky and hidden secrets, runners get to explore the capital on a route like no other!
The race starts by The Strand, finishes by Downing Street and has fabulous views of London's most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Pauls Cathedral, Nelsons Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.
