In 1974, David Morris, Disability Snowsport UK founder, asked “Why shouldn’t a wheelchair be on top of a mountain?”. At Disability Snowsport UK, we’ve been making this happen for more than 40 years. But there are many more people with a wide range of disabilities who want to be part of snowsport too. 

We really appreciate the support of Sensas in realising our vision of mountains and ski slopes free from barriers, where disabled people can learn and take part alongside family, friends and peers. 

Rebekah, parents of twins who enjoyed the summer activity days with DSUK:

"It gave them an opportunity to just be children like everyone else, and join together in a club and bond through their shared love of snow sports. The happy smiles at the end of each of these club sessions, from both the children and their carers alike, was magical to see.... This shows that the power of snowsport is more than just putting on a pair of skis, and the effects can have a lasting improvement in other aspects of the lives of disabled people.
