DUDT stands for the Durham University Dancesport Team. Our aims are to be to create a fun and welcoming environment where Ballroom and Latin is accessible to all. We represent Durham University at Ballroom and Latin dance competitions across the country.

The highlight of our year is competing at the national Inter-Varsity Dance Competition, held in the world renowned Empress Ballroom at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. Year upon year, DUDT attains phenomenal results across all categories, we particularly pride ourselves on the success of our amazing beginner dancers!

With the costs of travel, accommodation and competition entry increasing year upon year and the Student Union less able to provide aid, competing is sadly becoming increasingly inaccessible. Any financial support is hugely appreciated by all members of our team. All funds raised go towards reducing the cost to all of our dedicated dancers and keeping our renowned national titles!
