The village of Durness lies on the beautiful north coast of Scotland; but the play area for the local children is anything but beautiful. Please help us provide the youngest members of our community with the stimulating play environment they deserve.

The Durness Community Group (DCG) is a charity working within the community to ensure that Durness continues to be a thriving and sustainable place in which to live and work.

Story

The Durness Community Group is hugely grateful to everyone who has donated via Just Giving and to those individuals, charities and businesses who gave generously offline. With your help, we raised enough to make an application for Community Regeneration Funding and were successful! We’re hopeful that the new play equipment will be installed by Autumn 2024.
