The Durrell Challenge returns to Jersey for the fourth time on 12th May 2019. Join us for this fantastic event to celebrate Durrell's 60th anniversary and raise much needed funds for our vital work saving wildlife. This 13K timed race, starting in St. Helier and finishing at Jersey Zoo, will once again be supported by our ambassador Henry Cavill and attracts runners from all around the world.
Can you Do it for Durrell? Take on The Durrell Challenge and make this the biggest and best one yet! Durrell is an international charity on a mission to save species from extinction. Through our work in the wild and at Jersey Zoo we RECOVER threatened or missing wildlife, REVIVE damaged ecosystems, RECONNECT people to nature and help everyone to take RESPONSIBILITY for the natural world.
After the race The Really Wild Day will take place at Jersey Zoo with a Mission Possible Trail for children ten and under. The Really Wild Day will be a wild day out for all the family, with plenty of entertainment at the zoo, including being able to meet with the keepers, learn more about global conservation and see the animals. Jersey Zoo will be open to all including runners and their families, members, supporters and visitors. To find out more about Durrell go to www.durrell.org.
