Depaul UK is a national homelessness charity with a focus on young people. On a mission to end homelessness and change the lives of those affected by it, Depaul UK offers safe and supported accommodation, homelessness prevention initiatives, and programmes of support that lead to a brighter future.

Story

Depaul UK has been walking alongside those in need for 30 years, and we need your help to keep on walking until every young person has somewhere safe to call home.

Do you own a pair of trainers? Enjoy other people's company? And love making a difference?

This is the event for you!

Step up this October and take on a 10 mile sponsored walk through South London's hidden greenery to raise money for youth homelessness.

Each step you take brings us closer to providing a safe place for every young person facing a night on the streets. Beyond emergency accommodation, we work with young people to fulfill their potential and move towards an independent and positive future. Just like Dorian*.

Dorian's life was troubled from an early age. Finding himself homeless after a domestic row, he was at rock bottom when he was referred to Depaul UK.

With Depaul, theyve helped me with budgeting. Theyve shown me what matters. Being here at Depaul, now, Im more or less ready to move into my own place.

I always wanted to join the Army, the Parachute Regiment. My dad was in the Parachute Regiment. I want to go further, like special forces. I've got loads of living to do.

As we journey with those experiencing with homelessness, building confidence and skills, young people are discovering their potential and looking forward to bright futures.

You can be part of the journey too.

*Dorian's story is true, however his name and photograph have been changed to protect his privacy.
