The PTFA at DVIS are helping raise funds for a summerhouse for Lake Building Playground. The images provided here in the gallery offer some illustration of what the space might look like. This is to replace the white marquee which we've used for various purposes over the years (the children currently have music lessons in there all year round as well as other school activities). We would now like to invest in a water-tight, more wind-proof structure (!) which will be used by all children for music lessons, create a warm and quiet playtime space, offer a safe place for intervention groups, reading groups as well as being a useful space for PTFA events and more!

To note, playground renovation is midway through and the brilliant recent fundraising has covered that. PTFA existing funds will cover a base cost of the building but we are looking to fundraise an additional £25k by end of September with the plan to build by the end of 2025.
