EAAA/BHS Sponsored Ride 2023

The British Horse Society (BHS) aim to protect and promote the interests of all horses and those who care about them. Our core foundations – education, welfare, access and safety – are more important than ever as they demonstrably make a difference to horses’ lives.

Story

The BHS/EAAA sponsored ride at Southill, Bedfordshire, on Sunday 1st October

Please donate to sponsor our horses and riders and help to raise funds for the vital work of East Anglian Air Ambulance and The British Horse Society. 50% of the net proceeds of the sponsored ride will go to each charity.

Just select the rider you are sponsoring from the list below and go to their fundraising page.

About East Anglian Air Ambulance

East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 24/7 helicopter emergency medical service covering Beds, Cambs, Norfolk and Suffolk. EAAA doesn't receive regular government funding, each mission costs on average £3,750 and we need to raise £17m a year from charitable donations to continue our lifesaving service.

About The British Horse Society

The British Horse Society promotes and protects everything dear to riders and their horses. For over 70 years, the BHS has been a strong equestrian voice. We will continue supporting horses and riders, and you can too.

In Bedfordshire, the local committee of unpaid volunteers work to improve off-road riding, to address equine welfare concerns and to improve safety on the roads as well as to help local riders enjoy their horse!

The funds raised at this event will be used to further the charity’s work both within Bedfordshire and nationally.
