My mother in law has been volunteering for Homestart Ealing for some years and we are impressed with the work it tries to do for vulnerable families. Having taken shared paternity leave when my third child was born I am aware that the early years are physically, emotionally and financially hard on parents but where the foundations of a happy childhood are created. I have never asked colleagues or friends to sponsor me on a run but knowing how hard it is for all charities to obtain funds I feel I should use my run to obtain a greater awareness of the charity as well as some money through sponsorship. Please think about donating some money to this worthy cause or better still volunteering to help
