Story

The Story of Empathy and Inclusion: Celebrating 150 Years of Compassion.

Welcome to the Just Giving page for East Park School! With our 150th anniversary approaching, we are thrilled to celebrate our long-standing commitment to providing education, care, and compassion to children with complex additional support needs, including Autism. Throughout our history, we have supported children and young people with a diverse range of needs, and this milestone provides an opportunity to reflect on our journey. To commemorate this special occasion, we plan to create a book that will tell the story of East Park School over the years, alongside a year of celebrations and activities. The book will examine our progress in education and care, highlighting the positive changes that have taken place at our school. We hope to inspire others and raise awareness about the importance of inclusive, specialist support, and the profound impact that can be made on the lives of those we serve.

At East Park we believe that every child, regardless of their abilities, deserves a chance to thrive. For over 150 years, we have been dedicated to providing inclusive specialized education and care for children with complex needs. To celebrate this milestone and inspire others, we are embarking on an exciting book project. We invite you to be a part of this journey by supporting and donating towards our campaign.

At the heart of our organisation lies a history steeped in compassion. Since our founding, we have been driven by the belief that every child deserves access to education and care that embraces their uniqueness and helps them to realise their full potential. Our specialised placements have provided a safe and nurturing environment where children with complex needs can learn, grow, and thrive alongside their peers. They have become shining examples of resilience and determination, defying all odds to achieve their dreams.

We invite you to join us on this journey by supporting our 150th anniversary celebrations. Your donations will not only help us celebrate 150 years of compassion but will also enable us to engage and inspire a wider audience. Together, we can ensure continued support for children with complex needs and create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

As we reflect on our 150-year journey, we are filled with gratitude for the support and unwavering dedication of our community. Your generosity will help us create a legacy of compassion and inclusivity that will resonate for generations to come.

Thank you for your support and for making an impact on the lives of our children and young people.
