Story

[ EN MOVIMIENTO ] Virtual Fundraiser

Featuring Keynote Speaker, Tamara Alvarado, with special performances by EASTSIDE Magazine contributors, including San Jose grown Xicano Hip Hop Artist and Lyricist A.P.E., spoken word poet Mayra Flores and an exclusive set performed by East Side native musician, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Philthy Dronez.

This virtual fundraiser supports the work of EASTSIDE Magazine as a collective platform amplifying East San Joses rich cultural legacy. Together, we can create a movement.

Eastside Magazine was created to capture the heart of East San José by highlighting the communitys deeply rooted history, cultural vibrancy, ample assets and considerable resources. The magazine features the important work of organizations in East San José and stories of commitment and determination that contribute to the communitys growth and strength.

Through this magazine, we aim to emphasize a sense of pride, appreciation, and understanding of East San José as not just an important point of destination, but a home with a rich cultural legacy as the heart of San José.
