For many years The Friends of Eastwick Schools have organised an annual sponsored run ("Trainer Trek"). This year we felt that it's time for a change and in 2024 we have the perfect opportunity to link to a global sporting event.

It's the year of the Paris Olympics... and we'd love to inspire the children to embrace the opportunities that sport can offer, and to feel a connection to this iconic global event.

They will take part in some "Eastwick-style" mini-Olympic events in their year groups and we have three-time Olympic tri-athlete Gill Sanders coming to cheer the children on, lead a warm up run and motivate them to be the best they can be!

We appreciate that times are tight, and there's a lot to spend money on. Every donation in support of your children will help us to buy additional sports equipment for use in PE and Games lessons.
