Story
After the success of Edrington Stride held in Scotland last summer, we are pleased to announce the Glasgow Stride, which will take place on Thursday 22nd August.
This year's route will follow the West Highland Way (WHW), with our walkers meeting in Milngavie and walking approximately 30kms along the WHW. The Stride will conclude at Balmaha, where colleagues will have the chance to rest and celebrate their achievements.
This year we will be supporting two charities who are helping to fight poverty and support families and individuals across Glasgow.

The Marie Trust, based in The Merchant City, has been responding to the complex and often challenging needs of people affected by homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion since 2009. The charity aims to prevent and alleviate homelessness, offering a holistic, trauma-informed approach for individuals who often face challenging and traumatic experiences, recognising that people need more than a roof over their heads to feel safe and secure.

For two centuries, Right There, based in Govan, has been rooted in communities, walking alongside people of all ages facing the toughest times in life. Today, children and adults are facing challenges like never before. The charity are dedicated in their movement to help prevent homelessness, one person at a time.
