This year we have partnered with long-time Edward’s Trust supporters KWB and wing walking experts AeroSuperBatics to organise a thrilling, high-adrenaline fundraising campaign: a wing walk!

This exciting event will take place on Thursday 24th July 2025 at the former WW1 aerodrome RFC Rendcomb Airfield in Cirencester, Glos (GL7 7DF).

Your impact:

By participating in the wing walk, you will be raising vital funds for West Midlands based family bereavement charity Edward's Trust.

Every year, Edward’s Trust supports around 700 families who are navigating the devastating impact of bereavement. It costs approximately £600,000 annually to fund the range of vital services we provide, from counselling and well-being therapies to support groups. Without government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you. By participating in this wing walk and fundraising for Edward’s Trust, you will be directly helping bereaved families across the West Midlands rebuild their lives and find hope for the future.

The experience:

Flown by one of AeroSuperBatics’ expert wingwalking display pilots, you will take to the skies on the top wing of one of their Boeing Stearman biplanes and experience an exciting series of flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives and banks in front of the family and friends you bring along on the day.

Before you taxi across the beautiful RFC Rendcomb Airfield ready for take-off you can expect to be overwhelmed with excitement from the roar of the 450hp engine, that will guarantee you the most dramatic, thrilling and most powerful ride available in the UK.

As the propeller in front of you reaches speeds of 760mph, your adrenaline will hit new heights as the aircraft builds momentum for lift off!

Feel the sense of freedom as you fly through the air, taking in the stunning views surrounding our airfield, whilst supporting bereaved parents, children and young people across the West Midlands.

* To participate in this thrilling experience there is a £150 deposit and minimum fundraising target of £750.

AeroSuperBatics has certain regulations which need to be met so the experience is safe. You can come wing walking with us if you are…

• Over 18 years old

• Under 6' 2" (188cm) and over 4' (122 cm)

• Weigh no more than 14 stone (89kg)

• Physically fit and in good health
