Story
We are fundraising to print "Eglantyne" booklets to distribute to schools, libraries and community groups to raise awareness of the life and work of Eglantyne Jebb.
The 48-page illustrated booklet, "Eglantyne", celebrates the remarkable life of Eglantyne Jebb, born in Ellesmere and co-founder of Save the Children.
Initially distributed to the local area of Ellesmere, we would like this booklet to reach a larger audience, including local schools.
£2235 would allow us to print an additional 4000 copies of this fantastic book, written and illustrated by Sally Poynton.
This community project is proudly supported by Bethphage, with special thanks to the Co-Op Community Fund, Ellesmere Sculpture Initiative and the Ellesmere League of Friends.
