On 4th September, the Town Mayor, Frazer Visser, formally opened the EG Lions Book Shop in its new location on the Ground Floor of Martell's and has hundreds of books to choose from. The EG Lions again thank the Martell family for their support.

East Grinstead and District Lions Club has been serving the people of East Grinstead and District since 1968. The Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organisation in the world, with more than 1.3 million members, serving their communities in 205 countries.

Story

On Monday 4th September 2023, the Town Mayor, Frazer Visser, formally opened the EG Lions Book Shop in its new location. The Book Shop is situated on the Ground Floor of Martell's and has hundreds of books from which to choose. Also at the opening was the EG Lions Club President,Sharan Billings, Robert and Margaret Martell and a number of Lions Club members. The EG Lions would again like to thank the Martell family for providing a new home for the Book Shop and for their continued support.
