The British Hen Welfare Trust is a charity set up to transform the lives of commercial hens. Our re-homing programme, where we collect 'spent' hens from farms at 18 months old and re-home them as much-loved pets, has, so far, given nearly 700,000 hens a second chance at life.

Most of the hens we collect aren't quite like the beautiful Elizabeth though. They are often tatty with missing feathers and may be a bit shy and confused. However, with just a little love and care these girls flourish into gorgeous and loving family pets, ready to proudly display their newly sprouted feathers.

We're raffling off this beautiful print to change the lives of even more hens, giving them the freedom to enjoy the Spring sunshine.
