In 2025, I’ll be taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life by running the London Marathon.
Along with running, my passion lies in all things dramatic and the performing arts so what better reason to run to challenge myself to complete the marathon than by raising funds for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart: The Theatre in Chipping Norton. From attending shows to stepping on the stage myself, the theatre has been an important part of our lives.
Chippy Theatre is not just a venue; it's a community hub that has brought so much joy and creativity for over 50 years and is deeply committed to using the arts to improve lives.
My family and I have been proud supporters of Chippy Theatre for years.
Whether we’re sitting in the audience or taking part in the productions, The Theatre has given us unforgettable memories. Most recently, I had the thrill of a lifetime performing in CHAOS’s production of Evita, playing the role of Eva Perón—a dream role and another "bucket list" item crossed off!
But beyond just entertainment, Chipping Norton Theatre plays an essential role in our community. It is a place that opens its doors to people from all walks of life.
Their community outreach programs bring theatre and creative opportunities to children, young people, and adults, including those with special educational needs, the elderly, and those facing social isolation. From their Youth Theatre and Adult Drama workshops to collaborations with schools and care homes, Chippy Theatre is deeply committed to using the arts to improve lives.
I have never run a marathon, but feel I am up for the challenge – ticking off another big item on my bucket list would be amazing!
