Handsome Elmer has a loving family waiting for him in Manchester. This fundraiser is to help cover his flight and pet taxi costs, so he can finally make the journey from Bahrain to the UK and begin his second chance at the safe, happy life he deserves.

🌟 Elmer’s Story

Elmer’s story began in heartbreaking circumstances. He was found thin, shaved, and cruelly dumped on the unforgiving streets of Bahrain. Confused and vulnerable, he was left to fend for himself in conditions no domestic cat should ever face.

Thankfully, he was rescued and brought to safety. With proper nutrition, veterinary care, and plenty of love, Elmer slowly began to recover. Day by day he regained his strength, his coat grew back, and his true personality started to shine through.

Today, he is completely unrecognisable from the fragile cat who was once rescued. Elmer is now healthy, thriving, and ready to leave his past behind him.

Elmer is a truly lovely boy — sociable, affectionate, and wonderfully chilled out. He loves to stand up on his back legs to have a peek at what’s going on around him, always curious and involved in the action. One of his favourite things is receiving tight hugs, soaking up affection and giving it right back. He is the kind of gentle, loving companion who makes a house feel like home.

After everything he has endured, Elmer now has a family in Manchester ready and waiting to welcome him with open arms. All that stands between him and his fresh start is the cost of getting him there safely.
