Two Walsall Rotary members Tom and Andrea are setting off on 21st April for 2 weeks tackling the arduous and challenging 200km El Primitivo Walk in Spain. This is the oldest and original Carmino pilgrim route founded in the 9th century.
Covering the final 102 km lugo to Santiago de Compostela and the 99 km extension onwards to Muxia on the coast.
They target to raise £2000 for the Black Country Ablewell Advice Food Bank and other Walsall charitable causes.

BLACK COUNTRY ABLEWELL ADVICE FOODBANK
Based in Walsall, offers support to local people who are experiencing temporary difficulties such as benefit delays, temporary reductions in income, debts, or setting up home after a period of homelessness. the food bank, a charity, relies on donations from the public to fulfil its essential work.

Our intrepid pair have completed the 200km walk in the time they set and now with weary limbs can have a deserved rest. Congratulations to them and thanks to all who have given so generously to our fund.
