Himmah is a grassroots community based social justice initiative for poverty, race and education equalities. We achieve this by providing direct services, like our food bank, community meals, clothes, furniture, hate crime awareness and reporting, discrimination casework and English and supplementary classes.

Story

This morning I woke up to a phone call informing me that the Himmah food bank and offices have been burgled. Considerable loss and damage has been caused, the thieves stole food, IT equipment, petty cash and personal belongings. Himmah is a local Nottingham based charity that works with some of the most socially and economically marginalised families in the city. We provide over 6 and a half thousand food parcels and 10,000 hot meals a year.

Your help and support will allow us to keep up with our weekly parcels and meals as well as allow us to ensure these kinds of events don't happen again.
