Story
On Saturday 30th August Members of our Board will take on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
This iconic route is 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
This inspiring challenge will not only be a physical team building exercise but will raise much needed funds for EyUp! Charity.
EyUp! helps our amazing NHS staff to give even more, adding flourishes to services. It’s the sort of stuff our NHS can’t always afford – the bobby dazzler ideas that make a proper difference for those people in our services and local communities.
We don’t fund NHS services. Instead, we go above and beyond, the extra mile, with extra happiness. We can help with things for our hospital wards – like games or equipment. We can help visitors to our services, with things like play areas and comfy chairs. We can help lift people, boost recovery and create memories – from activity groups to service user trips or funding for community groups.
