Anne Robson Trust - No one dies alone

Your final days and hours on this earth count for a lot. Help us ensure no one has to spend this time alone. We equip hospitals to run volunteer visitor teams, so sit with patients, read to them, or simply hold their hand.

No one should have to face death alone. We help hospitals set up teams of volunteers to give companionship to patients dying on the ward. Our website equips people to support a loved one who is dying, and to prepare well for the end of life. But we can't do it alone. Ready to join us?

Story

Too many people die alone, with no friends or family at their side.

Overstretched resources in care settings and the increasing number of deaths in the UK has led to severely compromised end of life care. Too many people spend their last days alone, without loved ones.

The Anne Robson Trust's vision is for everyone to receive the compassion and companionship they wish for at the end of their life.

We ask for your help to:

Set up and support volunteer visitor teams at 3 new hospitals. This year we aim to support a total of 20,000 people in hospitals across the UK.

Volunteers will provide a listening ear, and hand to hold, and the unhurried presence of another person when it is needed most.

Priority will go to patients who have no other visitors.

The Butterfly Volunteers are angels. They are truly wonderful people. Thank you so much for being there.” – Diane
