Story

2021 is a very exciting year for Enham Trust as we celebrate our 100th birthday as a leading disability charity supporting disabled people to live, work and enjoy life. However as we enter our very special centenary year disabled people need our support more than ever as the Covid-19 pandemic continues.

Disabled people up and down the country have found themselves shielding at home, leaving many feeling isolated and forgotten. This is having hugely negative impacts on disabled peoples wellbeing and is widening the vast inequalities disabled people already face.

Over the last century we have made a real and long lasting difference to the lives of thousands of disabled people, supporting them in every area of their lives from providing accessible homes and personalised care to employment support and activities that improve physical and mental wellbeing, ensuring disabled people are able to live independent, fulfilled and happy lives. Our wide range of services have never been more important than they are today in providing disabled people with the vital support they need through Covid-19 and beyond but we need your help to continue making a real difference to the lives of disabled people!

Join #TeamEnham today!

To celebrate our incredible 100th birthday we are looking for 100 #TeamEnham fundraisers to join our unique 100 challenge and take on a fundraising challenge of your choice. Maybe you are a keen marathon runner or an adrenaline junkie looking to jump out of a plane at 10,000ft!

Or maybe you want to take on a unique challenge of your own. Could you host a gaming livestream for 100 minutes or bake 100 cakes for your very own cake sale? The possibilities are endless making it easy for everyone to get involved with this epic challenge.

By joining our 100 challenge every step taken, jump made, cake baked and penny raised really will make a huge difference to our vital work, ensuring we are able to continue making a positive and long lasting difference to the lives of disabled people today and for another 100 years and beyond.

How do I fundraise for the 100 challenge?

Fundraising for Enham Trust's 100 challenge is easy with JustGiving. All you need to do is decide on your challenge before setting up your own fundraising page by clicking the start fundraising button or if you would prefer you can donate directly by clicking the green button above.

The difference your donations will make

£50 would cover the cost of a counselling session for a disabled person struggling with their mental health throughout the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic

£100 would cover the cost of a two hour cooking session in our Training Kitchen for up to five disabled people

£150 would cover the cost of a day of activities in one of our care homes ranging from arts & crafts to music and gardening providing disabled people with the opportunities they deserve to socialise and importantly have fun!

Thank you so much for your support!
