The 2023 Women of Scotland lunch will raise funds for: Neurodevelopment in childhood-onset epilepsies and in children of women with epilepsy

Cognitive and behavioural problems in childhood-onset epilepsies are often undiagnosed or poorly managed, and the outcomes of children of women with epilepsy remain unclear. Researchers at the University of Edinburgh will use a large-scale Scottish dataset to determine psychological and educational outcomes, and understand more why poor outcomes occur.
