Story
Equal Aqua FC is more than just a football team.
We use sport to raise awareness of vital WASH issues and promote health in marginalised communities in Uganda.
Our winning team consists of EAU’s volunteers and local WASH ambassadors. Our matches are held in the local communities where EAU provides its essential services, including water tanks, latrines and WASH training programmes.

How you can help
Ever dreamt of being a patron of a football team? Well, fresh from our first local cup victory, we are inviting football enthusiasts to join the Equal Aqua FC Supporters Trust. Our ultimate goal is to reach the Ugandan Premier League.

Why Join the Supporters Trust?
Your support will not only help us with basic team needs such as equipment, uniforms and registration, but also contribute to our broader mission. With your support, we can:
• Raise Awareness for WASH: We use football as a platform to educate people on the importance of clean water and sanitation, which are critical for public health.
• Foster Community Cohesion: Football brings people together, and through it, we build unity around important issues like WASH that affect everyone.
• Promote Healthy Lifestyles: We’re passionate about encouraging young people to stay active, healthy, and engaged in positive activities through sport.

What You Get In Return
• Making a Difference: As a member of the Supporters Trust, you’ll be aligned with a team that’s not just playing football but actively engaging with important social issues.
• Free Merchandise: For any donations £50 or over, we will post to you a retro EA FC football jersey (see image below).
• Entry to the EA FC Supporters Trust chat to receive updates of all our matches.
• Brand Visibility: For larger donors, we can discuss proudly displaying your company’s logo on our team uniforms, banners, and promotional materials at events and matches (get in touch).
• Fun: The sponsorship of a team in a local league in Uganda can bring great enjoyment to all those involved.

What we need
We are raising 5,000,000 Ugandan Shillings, or approximately £1000, in order to purchase the relevant equipment and enter the team into local league/cups.
We believe that together we can make a real impact in Uganda, improving lives and promoting sustainable development through the love of the game. If you are interested, we’d love to have a conversation and discuss how we can work together.
