Founded in 1959 by the Daughters of Charity, Elizabeth Seton High School (ESHS) is a Catholic, college-preparatory school dedicated to empowering over 500 young women to learn, lead, and serve. As the only all-girls school in Prince George's County, Maryland, Seton fosters diversity and inclusivity, with 80% of students being girls of color and 75% receiving tuition assistance or merit scholarships. Through academic excellence, leadership programs, and initiatives like SetonBeWell, ESHS prepares students to be intellectually capable, globally connected, and service-oriented leaders.

Story

Opening Doors to Opportunity

This Giving Tuesday, you have the chance to make a powerful impact on the lives of young women at Elizabeth Seton High School where HER FUTURE IS NOW. By contributing to our campaign, you’re helping to remove financial barriers and provide tuition assistance to students who might otherwise never have the chance to access a transformative Seton education.

A Lifeline for Future Leaders

Elizabeth Seton High School stands as a beacon of empowerment for the next generation of leaders, embracing a mission deeply rooted in equity, diversity, and transformative change. With 80% of our student body comprised of Black, Brown, and Hispanic young women, Seton actively bridges the achievement and wealth gaps that disproportionately impact communities of color.

Through rigorous academics, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, our graduates contribute to society as trailblazers in industries and advocates for systemic change.

Our commitment to inclusion isn't just about numbers—it’s about action. We integrate culturally responsive teaching, provide scholarship opportunities to ensure access for all, and foster a sense of belonging that prepares our students to thrive in a global world. By creating pathways for success, we are not only reshaping futures but also uplifting communities, one graduate at a time.
