Story
On 12th and 13th June, a (very) mixed-ability group of East Sheen Primary School (ESPS) parents will be taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Amsterdam. We’re raising money to refurbish the school’s libraries and for Stemette Futures – a charity which supports girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Please support us with a donation and help make a difference to young lives. Thank you!
Why we're doing this
Our PTA’s purpose is to help every child at ESPS to thrive. We do this by raising money to pay for equipment and facilities that aren’t covered by the school’s regular funding.
Our school’s two libraries have been well-used by generations of ESPS children. But they no longer match the ambition we have for our pupils as readers. With your support, we’re re-creating the spaces – inspiring young readers for years to come.
We're proud to co-raise funds with Stemette Futures, a charity that works alongside non-profit Stemettes to inspire, support, and encourage girls, young women, and non-binary young people into technical fields.
How you can help
Donate: Every contribution – large or small – makes a difference. Participants are covering all the ride costs, so every penny you donate will go towards the library campaign and Stemettes.
Cheer us on: Follow updates on our training and the ride’s progress on the ESPS PTA Instagram account.
Share our story: The more people know about what we’re doing, the more impact we’ll have. Please spread the word to friends, family and anyone you think might support our efforts!
