Organised by Euxton Parish Church3 church members (Rev Amy, Becky Edge, Beth Palmer) are competing as a relay team in IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton on 30 June 2024 to raise much-needed funds for Euxton Parish Church.
Rev Amy, Becky and Beth are embarking on the challenge of competing in IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton on 30 June 2024 in order to raise much needed funds for Euxton Parish Church. They are competing as a relay team as follows:
Swim (Amy) - 1.2 mile (1.9km) swim course round Pennington Flash.
Bike (Becky) - 56 mile (90km) bike course round the villages surrounding the swim course then 2 loops round Bolton and Horwich.
Run (Beth) - 13.1 mile (21.1km) run round Bolton Town Centre culminating at Bolton Town Hall.
Rev Jo Smith (Vicar at EPC) has been a long standing chaplain of the event offering support and pastoral care to competitors, staff and supporters.
