Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Evoke are proud to be partnering with the Motor Neurone Disease Association as our UK Partner for 2025.

The MND Association are a charity dedicated to improving access to care, advancing research and advocating for people affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

The charity was selected following a colleague-led review of potential charity partners, and was nominated by Leisa Byers, evoke colleague and regional operations manager, whose niece Tamara was diagnosed with the disease at just 26 years of age.

In November 2024, we raised £117,000 at our inaugural ‘evoke the stars’ charity gala evening, hosted at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. Off the back of this, we are now excited to see what we can achieve together as an official partner of the MND Association for 2025.

Throughout 2025, we will be hosting fundraising activities, as well as offering several challenge events, with places provided by MND Association, for colleagues to participate in such marathons and other distance events. We have an ambitious fundraising target of £400,000 for the partnership, and need the support of everyone at evoke, our colleagues and customers, to help achieve this.

Our support for the MND Association will support the charity in providing essential care services to those affected by MND and to fund groundbreaking research to help the charity come closer to finding effective treatments and ultimately, a cure.
