Edinburgh Women’s Aid supports women and children to recover from the trauma of domestic abuse. We provide a range of crisis, therapeutic and prevention services including: a helpline and drop-in; counselling; outreach; court advocacy; refuge accommodation; resettlement; and therapeutic support.

Join the Kiltwalk 2024 for Edinburgh Women's Aid

Every day, women and children in our community face the terrifying reality of domestic abuse. Edinburgh Women's Aid (EWA) offers a safe haven, emotional support, and practical assistance to help women and children rebuild their lives free from fear and abuse.

Get Involved

Registration for this year's Kiltwalk is now open, and we would love to have you join us. To sign up, simply visit the Kiltwalk website and follow the registration instructions, then come back to this page and create your fundraising page.

There is no minimum fundraising pledge when you register for the Kiltwalk and pay for your own place. If you manage to raise at least £40 for Edinburgh Women’s Aid, we'll send you a free t-shirt!

Your support is vital in our mission to support survivors and create a society free from domestic abuse.

Whether it's through making a donation, signing up for the Kilkwalk 2024, or spreading awareness - every action makes a real difference to the women and children who rely on our services.

Our impact in 2023

• In total, EWA supported 2215 women and 220 children and young people.

• 987 women reached out to EWA’s crisis team when they were at their most vulnerable, feeling fearful and unsafe, needing help to move towards life free of domestic abuse.

From Jan - Mar 2024, EWA has experienced 38% year-on-year increased demand in our crisis support service.

We need your support more than ever to ensure that every woman and child can live in safety and free from domestic abuse.
