New England Wood Trust is fundraising to expand by buying and managing the 12 acres north east of the wood. We have agreed a price with the seller. Thanks to some grant agreements and generous pledges we have much of the necessary funds agreed and are now working to get over the finishing line.

NB: the fundraising gap may not be as big as it appears as some pledges have not been donated yet.

If we raise more than needed to complete the purchase we will use the excess for the general purposes of the charity.

If we raise funds and fail to complete the purchase, e.g. if the seller pulls out or we fail to raise enough, we will return donations of £50 and above and retain donations of below £50 for general purposes.

If an individual has made multiple donations that collectively exceed £50 we will endeavour to return them too but you may need to contact us here: cuckfieldwoodlanderssec@gmail.com.

If you would like your donation refunded in the event the purchase doesn't succeed please make sure your donation is not anonymous to the charity as, in some circumstances, this will prevent us from refunding the donation.
