In March 2019, we organised an eye camp in Chabawal, Hoshiarpur, Punjab in order to deliver much needed treatment to the area's citizens. We had over 500 patients attend with treatments ranging from providing glasses and replacement lenses, to those requiring more complex hospital procedures for which all costs were covered. Additionally, transport was provided to and from approximately 30 other villages and all were welcomed.

Following the success of 2019, we at the Rotary Club of Warwick would like to raise funds to organise another restoring sight project in November 2023. Our goal of £20,000 is already helped by the club making available £5000 from its own funds, The money raised would allow us to expand the service and help many more local villages. These funds will be spent on hospital professional services, glasses, lens replacements, operations, hospital stays and the travel costs of patients.

In November 2023 we completed our second eye camp, delivering much needed treatment to the citizens of Chabawal, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The project was a great success - so much so that we plan for the eye camp project to become an annual event for the Rotary Club of Warwick.
