FACE aims to train women and providing the opportunity to become a beneficial member of Senegal society. We are an organisation established to promote education and deal with illiteracy crises by funding and promoting Education for All within the deprived members of the local communities of Senegal. We use our platform to help in promoting education by opening Vocational College in Sub-Saharan Africa, Senegal.
We believe in Train today and see the prints in the shadow of highly educated and skilled people tomorrow". Our main objective is to overcome poverty by raising awareness of modern age through education, leading to an improved way of life.
The fundamental theme for vocational training is to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and deprivation among the local African society and to give them a sense of improving their lifestyle by learning skills. The broad spectrum of this project will soon reflect (after the students trained) in the form of competitive trade in the local market. These females, once trained, will be able to explore high standards of garments in not only the domestic market but abroad as well in the form of exports. This project is a first step of opening a door for the women of Senegal to give them liberty, independence, self-reliance and to make themselves beneficial members of society.
There is an aspect of Working in partnership with the local community is that Face will facilitate the students with trainers and training equipment. In return, FACE will expect a huge and massive outcome in the form of a highly skilled worker who can play a vital role in the development of the economy of the country.
This training centre will have a significant impact on training women who can not only be beneficial for the society but also would generate income for their family. FACE TVET will be a drastic step in eliminating poverty and illiteracy in Senegal. Local community has provided the space in the picture under refurbishment; the sewing school will be on the top floor. FACE is planning to provide ten sewing machines, learning materials, furniture and decoration of the learning place. Also, the mentor salary for the whole of the first year, the total cost for this project is £2000.00.
