The organ was built in 1900 and extensive works were carried out in 1988. The time has now come to carry out major work to secure the future of the organ for many more years to come. Music is a very strong part of the life of St Faith's Church, Great Crosby - both for enhancing the liturgy at church services and hosting special events - like "Come and Sing Faure's Requiem" and an annual series of Saturday Summer Recitals. The funding is to pay for essential and expensive repairs to the organ that will be funded by an exciting series of Online Organ Concerts through Lent 2022 and a series of musical recitals for Compline during March. This will continue into the summer with an eight week series of Saturday Lunchtime Recitals.
