Story
Every family deserves a safe place to belong.
But for too many in our community, life feels like a constant struggle. Financial pressure. Isolation. No access to safe spaces outside school or home. Parents stretched thin. Kids missing out on opportunities to learn, play, and thrive.
That’s why the Family Club exists.
Once a week, over 40 families from one of the most deprived areas in Greater Manchester gather in a local school hall. They share tea, coffee, juice, and a biscuit. They laugh, play, and try things together they could never do at home. Crafts, painting, baking, cooking, gardening, sports, and games. It’s more than an afterschool club. It’s a lifeline.
But we need your help to keep it going.
We’re raising £1,000 to provide:
£250 → craft and creative supplies (painting, seasonal crafts)
£200 → cooking and gardening ingredients and materials
£200 → sports equipment for all ages and abilities
£150 → board games and toys for family play
£100 → refresments and volunteer support
£100 → cleaning supplies and storage to keep the space safe
Your donation will do so much more than buy supplies. It will:
*Give parents and children a safe place to connect and grow together
*Reduce loneliness and build stronger community bonds
*Boost mental health, resilience, and self-esteem through fun, creative activities
*Teach families new skills like cooking healthy meals and budgeting for food
👉 Please donate today and help us keep Family Club alive for families who need it most.
Because when families feel safe, supported, and valued, the whole community thrives.
