Closes 30/05/2025

Founded in 2016 by two former serving soldiers, Calum MacLeod and Colin Maclachlan, Who Dares Cares has a team of volunteers committed to supporting our Armed Forces and Blue Light Services personnel, including their families, who are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Story

On the 1 February 2023 Abbie, Hannah and their family unexpectedly lost their father Dan Laidlaw. It was a massively tough time for the family, their friends and everybody who knew Dan. Unknown to a lot of people, Dan suffered from PTSD and Abbie, Hannah and their family continue to support Who Dares Cares through fundraising to support other Veterans suffering with PTSD.

On Saturday 3 May 2025 Who Dares Cares will be returning to Wales to hike the Pen Y Fan to Remember Dan and the Fallen for whom the Battles were Never Over. Taking on the “Selection” Route that many travelled to the start of their Journey.
