Fund Life-saving Treatment During Natalie's 40th Birthday

Your support will enhance a life-saving treatment - the ABC Bundle - across the UK. Please give today and help us change lives in celebration of what would have been Natalie's 40th Birthday.

The Natalie Kate Moss Trust was setup in 2012 by the Moss family after the sudden death of Natalie from a brain haemorrhage. With only 3 out of 5 people surviving a brain haemorrhage within one month, the trust is on a mission to prevent and treat as many brain haemorrhages as possible.

Story

You may know the story about why we started, but I’d like to share with you a bit about Natalie.

Natalie was fun, kind; she was outgoing, she loved life. She was healthy.

Then one day in December 2011 that all changed.

Natalie had experienced a sudden, excruciating headache – a symptom of the onset of a brain haemorrhage. After five days in Intensive Care, Natalie passed away on 7th December at 26 years old. It changed us forever.

But from this tragedy, Natalie’s legacy has grown into our mission. Brain haemorrhages devastate lives every day. Even if someone does survive one, their life will never be the same.

At The Natalie Kate Moss Trust, we're daring to ask – what if we could improve outcomes for people who experience brain haemorrhages? What if we could prevent them all together? Today, our goal is to find the answers.

Working alongside Manchester University for the past 13 years, after so much development, this year - the year of Natalie’s 40th birthday - we're thrilled to share an amazing breakthrough. Led by Consultant Neurologist Adrian Parry-Jones, the team’s research has inspired the ‘ABC Bundle’, a life-saving protocol that provides critical care to intracerebral haemorrhage patients within that first ‘golden hour’.

This project is now being rolled out to hospitals across England in 2025. One day, the ABC Bundle could be standard practice around the world.

Now, we need your help. Adrian’s team has an exciting opportunity to conduct more research to improve the ABC Bundle by exploring the most effective blood pressure medication, which could reduce disability -- and save even more lives.

Just £33.91 could pay for one hour of research to help improve survival rates and lower the chance of disability for thousands of future patients.

£271.30 would pay for a clinical researcher to complete a full day of research.

£1,356.50 would fund an entire week of research on the team’s new project.

Our goal is to pay for six full months of research - £35,269!

Together, we build on Natalie’s legacy to save lives and ease suffering (what a great 40th birthday present that would have been for her!).

Thank you for being part of this mission alongside us.
