The Festive Fun Run is a delightful Christmas-time sponsored activity for primary school children, organized to raise money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. Each participant is encouraged to collect sponsorships from family and friends, with all proceeds going to support the hospice in providing compassionate care to patients and families. The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.2million to run each year with just 17% of the funding received coming from statutory sources. The remaining 83% is raised from a range of fundraising events such as Festive Fun Run, the support of the generous local community in Cheshire.
