The people of Yemen have been suffering from the worst humanitarian crisis in history. 2.2 million children are malnourished whilst more than 20 million currently rely on humanitarian aid for survival. Basic access to food is lacking for many, leaving more than 10 million on the brink of famine.
Mercy Relief has established bakeries across Yemen since 2008, providing hundreds of thousands of people with vital bread.
Bread is a luxury many take for granted, but for millions of people in Yemen, access to bread can be very difficult or even impossible due to economic collapse and civil war, which has affected the entire country.
A simple donation of £120 can provide bread for up to 1000 people, satisfying their hunger during this very difficult time.
Millions of people in Yemen are going many days without food, which is causing hunger-related diseases amongst the population. With access to bread, many are able to satisfy immediate needs for their families, especially with regular access to local bakeries.
By donating to Mercy Relief’s bakery project in Yemen, you will help us alleviate the pains of hunger for thousands of people, including many children facing malnourishment.
Please support the people of Yemen now and reap the rewards of giving charity to the oppressed who are needy and calling out for urgent help.
