Story
A once much loved play park to so many over the years is no-longer so well loved. Many items have been removed and the few favourites which remain need maintenance.
The uneven surface and tricky raised levels to get to the remaining apparatus does not make the area appealing to smaller children. With those who can drive often driving to neighbouring villages to use a play park.
A village at times can be very isolating especially if you dont drive and have a young family. The village has a wonderful village shop but no real play park . With the recent pandemic and the population having travel restricted it has highlighted the importance of outdoor space accessible to all for physical and mental health whether 2 or 100.
Even if you no longer have small children in the village a walk to a local play park is a great afternoon spent with visitors, family and grandchildren.
So please if you can help us restore this invaluable village resource help by sharing this page and donating if you can.
