On average two women a week in the UK are murdered by a partner or ex-partner. Many victims escape an abusive relationship at a moments notice, scared for their own and their children's lives.

1 in 6 refuges across the UK have closed since 2010 and across the country 60 per cent of women looking for refuge space are being turned away from refuges because there is not enough space. With no money, nowhere safe to go, and nowhere to turn, victims and children are at high risk of returning to their abuser.

Here at Glow we have three refuges across North Staffordshire that offer the vital support needed to help people start to rebuild their lives free from abuse. We could not do this without people like you and your amazing generosity.
