The Trust already awards a medal to the next-of-kin of those members of the fire service who have died in the course of their duties since the creation of the Firefighters Memorial in 2003. We now feel that it is more appropriate to award instead a brooch-style Emblem which can be more easily worn.

This will involve commissioning a quality style Emblem from a suitable supplier, which can then be awarded to the next-of-kin as a tribute to their loved-one. We will need to raise the funds for the initial commissioning of the Emblem and then the stock required to make future presentations. We need to raise £20k.
