Story
First Light supports individuals of any age, gender or sexuality who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence.
Without First Light I would not be where I find myself today and for that I am very grateful!
With your help, we can continue to provide excellent quality services, but also deliver innovative new services in response to the changing needs of those affected by abuse.
It has been really good talking to someone who got it. I could explain my feelings and felt accepted. I didn't have to excuse myself or justify anything.
Every single person First Light can support is a life you have helped to change, and a person who took their first step towards a life free from abuse.
Its harder for guys to talk. It has helped me a lot, with issues. I don't think I would have been where I am right now if it wasn't for my counsellor and First Light. I really appreciate it.
