The 12 Hour Basketball Marathon is BACK!

The event is on Friday 7th February and will run between 7am-7pm and will follow the same format as previous. The aim of the day is to keep a basketball game going for 12 Hours straight and there can be NO Breaks!

12-Hour Basketball Marathon

Friday 7th February 2025 7AM-7PM

The PE department are hosting a 12 Hour Basketball Marathon on Friday 7th February 2025.

From the event we aim to donate a minimum of £2000 towards Little Havens, MACS and the the school.

How it works?

• The event starts at 7am until 7pm.

• 10 players must always be on the court, keeping the game going. Additional players will be on the bench ready to sub on and off.

• During the day, if you have a PE lesson (and you have entered) you can play in that time.

• During break, lunch and after school everyone who has entered to play is welcome.

• Everyone that has entered will be get a wristband.

• On the day, there will be refreshments, hot food, cakes, and treats.

How do I enter?

If you wish to enter to play in the event, you need to fill out the entry form and hand this back to Miss Hart /Miss Hall (PE LSA) in PE along with your £5 entry cost.

Once you have entered to play the competition, you will receive a sponsorship form and wristband Closer to the event.

Sponsorship

For each student that collects the following amount they will receive a voucher

£200 sponsorship they will receive a £20 voucher of their choice.

£500 sponsorship they will receive a £50 voucher of their choice.

Largest amount collected; student will receive a £75 voucher of their choice.

7am-8.30am Anyone that has a wristband that has entered

8.45am- 9.45am 9V

9.45am-10.45am 10W

10.45am-11.05am BREAK- Anyone that has a wristband that has entered

11.05am-12.05am 10V

12.05am-1.05am 7AC

1.05am-2.05am LUNCH- Anyone that has a wristband that has entered

2.10pm-3.10pm 11V

3.10pm- 7pm AFTER SCHOOL- Anyone that has a wrist band that has entered
