Help us to spread joy all year round
We want to spread our life-changing work far and wide - and we need your help. As a charity, donations are a really important source of income for us so this festive season we're fundraising to support our programmes and reach hundreds more people across the UK.
The Together Project is the national charity (1192175) that boosts wellbeing, reduces loneliness and fosters stronger, happier communities through joyful intergenerational experiences. Our current three flagship programmes are:
Songs & Smiles - An intergenerational music group for 0-4 year olds, their grown-ups and older people, held in care homes and assisted living schemes.
"Songs & Smiles is a joy to attend, a real highlight of our week. It’s such a lovely way to connect and interact with our community." - Parent/guardian
Crafting Connections - The heart-warming arts & crafts exchange pairing children with older adults receiving care.

We are Friends in Libraries - An intergenerational storytelling project in Waltham Forest, bringing together older residents, young children and their parents/carers.
"You really see the inner child come out and they really look forward to the day itself. When it's the morning of, they are ready to go as they have been preparing all week long. But it is after a session, when we travel back together, and the residents are on such a high. They have a sense of accomplishment of reading the stories and they are always amazed about how the children respond to their reading by listening intently and giving them big hugs at the end of the session." - Care home staff
