Story

Some people feel like they’ve got nothing to give.

For someone struggling with anxiety, loneliness, or low confidence, life can feel empty. But walking into a safe, welcoming room can change everything.

That’s what your gift makes possible.

We’re raising £750 to run 20 community workshops in Eccles where people can grow confidence, learn new skills, and discover that they do have something valuable to bring.

These sessions aren’t really about sewing. They’re about:

Breaking isolation → giving people a place where they belong.

Boosting confidence → helping those who feel anxious or low to achieve small wins.

Supporting identity → especially for young people in the trans community, exploring how clothing can be part of self-expression.

Learning and sharing skills → from simple repairs to creative projects, and then passing those skills on to others.

Your donation pays for the space, the materials, and sewing packs for those who can’t afford their own. It means someone who feels stuck at home can step into a room, meet others, and slowly rediscover their worth.

This project is about more than making or mending. It’s about healing, confidence, and community.

Even a small gift — £5, £10, or £20 — helps us open the door for someone who desperately needs it.

Will you help us show people in Eccles they’re not invisible, and that they do have something to give?

Because when people find belonging, everything changes.

This is your chance to show someone they’re not invisible. Give today, and help us prove they matter.
