One Vision works with 51 community group members to better the lives of people living in Hertfordshire, especially the young. Our Vision is of a community where people come together in Hertfordshire to support the vulnerable, promote equality and address injustice.
Our Mission is to bring people together to develop services and initiatives in Hertfordshire to address community cohesion, food poverty, mental health, and youth needs, regardless of cultural background or religious affiliation.
We want to improve people's lives by meeting their physical, social, emotional, and mental health needs. We identify needs in the community and develop services and
initiatives to improve people's lives.
Our objectives are:
• To bring people and organisations together to improve community cohesion and build community capacity
• To improve the physical and mental health and social and emotional well-being of people in our community
• To provide practical support to vulnerable individuals and families affected by food poverty and/or social deprivation
• To improve the ability of young people to participate in and shape their community
