Emergency Food Appeal 2026

Supporting families in need, during the fuel crisis in Sri Lanka

Set up in memory of Rosie May Storrie, age 10, who was brutally murdered in 2003. The Rosie May Foundation is a little charity with a BIG vision committed to creating a living legacy for children, especially girls, giving them a future that Rosie May was denied. "Make A Difference Together"

Story

Help us to support families during the fuel crisis in Sri Lanka.

Families across Sri Lanka are facing an unbearable rise in food prices, and it is women and children who are carrying the heaviest burden. Your support is bringing comfort at a time when many feel forgotten.

Mothers are going without meals so their children can eat. Essentials like rice, dhal and milk powder are now beyond the reach of families already struggling to survive. The cost of living continues to climb, leaving many with nothing left to give.

Our food parcels offer a lifeline. Each one is filled with nutritious staples and essential household items that help a family get through the month with dignity and care.

Each parcel includes:

Red rice, dhal, chickpeas, sugar, tea, milk powder, wheat flour, soya, sprats, noodles, canned fish, cereal, onions, potatoes, garlic, washing powder, soap and toothpaste.

Your kindness ensures women and children have the food they need during this crisis. Every parcel you help provide makes a real difference to a Rosie May Family.
