Why take part?
When you take part, youre taking a step towards a brighter future for donkeys who are abused, neglected or abandoned. Donkeys like Lottie, one of Flickas rescues.
Lottie spent many miserable years as an unlicensed beach donkey forced to give rides to holiday makers. She was made to walk every day, up and down the beach, carrying tourists - even when she was also carrying a foal. Thankfully for Lottie, The Flicka Foundation was able to rescue her and bring her to our peaceful sanctuary in Cornwall, where she is free to do as much or as little as she wants. Now she enjoys a safe and happy home for life with her son Olly, playing in the paddocks, lazing on the grass and enjoying time with the herd. Lottie is one of the lucky ones.
Please help us take a step towards a brighter future for more donkeys like Lottie, by walking the Footsteps for Flicka Challenge.
We cant do it without your support.
